On Saturday, July 19, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, we’re inviting all New York drivers and their families to join us at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens for IDG’s annual Driver and Family Appreciation Day. This is our chance to come together outside the car, enjoy free food and entertainment, and celebrate everything drivers make possible. Bring the whole family for a day full of music, games, face painting, and more. You’ve earned it—and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

The Independent Drivers Guild celebrates the rich legacy and leadership of Black drivers who power our cities and our movement. As we mark this historic milestone, we reflect on the struggles that came before us and redouble our efforts to build a gig-economy—and a nation—where liberation, dignity, and fair pay are realities for all.
