New York Drivers: Thank You for Testifying on Pay and Policies

A huge thank you to the IDG New York drivers who spoke out at the TLC hearing on pay and policies! Your voices sent a powerful message—drivers are struggling and need a raise. The app companies will try to distort the truth and pressure the TLC, but we won’t back down. Fair pay and real protections are essential, and we’ll keep pushing until the TLC delivers. Drivers deserve a raise and should not be ticketed simply for doing their job. Thank you to all the IDG members who testified at the TLC’s recent hearing on driver pay and unfair ticketing.

Illinois rideshare drivers are making history in the fight for union rights! With the support of IAM Local 701 and SEIU Local 1, our movement is stronger than ever. Just like drivers in Massachusetts, who won a groundbreaking victory securing a path to unionization, Illinois drivers are uniting to demand fair pay, deactivation protections, and a voice on the job. For too long, Uber and Lyft have profited while drivers struggle with low wages and unsafe conditions—but we’re fighting to change that.
